[00:00:42] Lisa Woolfork: Hello, my name is Lisa Wolf. I'm a wife, mother, professor black lives matter organizer in Charlottesville, Virginia. I've also been sewing for the last 25 years. I am the convener of black women's stitch, a group [00:01:00] of fantastic black women's sewists. And we are pleased to introduce you to stitch, please.
[00:01:06] Lisa Woolfork: Stitch, please is the black women's stitch podcast. Black women's stitch is a values led project that centers black women, girls and fems in sewing stitch, please podcast lifts up and celebrates black women, girls and fems. As we practice the principles of radical self love, black liberation and social justice.
[00:01:26] Lisa Woolfork: We are the sewing group where black lives matter. And unlike mainstream sewing circles, we see color. And we see you. Our first episode will be dropping next week. And the topic is back to school sewing as we head into early fall. This is a great time to discuss back to school sewing.
